The Attack on the Sri Lankan Cricket Players: The Savage Rampage of Terrorism!!!

The recent terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan Cricket players is the latest and maybe the ugliest model of terrorist activities in the world after 1972 Munich Massacre. Yes there might be some cause; yes there might be some dissatisfaction among you guys. We also don’t disagree that you might have the disrespect to the current rules and the rulers of the society… but please keep in mind-even the father has no right to take the life of his son, whom he has given birth. And you guys don’t even posses a chance for any good reason in the world.
There was a nice quote in the Movie Rang De Basanti, which tells “Jo log ucha sunte hai, unke liye dhamake ka jorurat hota hai”… (A big bang is needed to reach to the ears of the people who don’t bother for the noise.) But the question that lies here is that- to whom these Gunmen want to reach and what is their message!!! They have no agenda; they have no vision and the only note they delivers to the world is that- ‘Humanity is diminishing and it is diminishing in an exponential reduction.’ And that is the difference between the terrorist and the activist. The activist ‘will die for a cause and may live for nothing’ but the terrorist dies in shame and lives for hatred.
The attack on Mumbai on 26th November ’08, caused nearly two hundred of our fellow brothers and sisters to lay down their life, made us panicked but did this halt our life??? Never. May be people are vulnerable but they are not afraid, at least not afraid of some masked criminals who are not even good enough to show their face to the world. Why? Because there is no mother in the world who by any means will be proud for them; no father who will even drop a single shed of tear or any brother who will like to be known as their relative. And if you guys have a message for the common people by shooting at the ambassadors of peace, friendship and brotherhood- we have a message for you also “We are ashamed of you because we have to share the same Sunlight, Water and Earth with you. Even the God may forgive you… but we will never.”
